Tango Discovery Week in Matera 2027

Tango and discovery in one of Italy’s most extraordinary towns, famous for its ancient cave dwellings (the Sassi). Patricia Hilliges & Matteo Panero teach elegant salon tango with subtle embellishments, in two groups of up to 10 couples, timed around a discovery program: a guided walk through the old town, an aperitivo milonga in a historic palazzo, and a countryside afternoon at an agriturismo. Milongas are held each evening at the hotel, which has a pool and spa and is within walking distance of the old town. For experienced dancers who are comfortable with parallel and crossed systems, pivots and ochos.
